The island of Caracas is a gem location. Located about an hour from the twin-engine plane flight of 10 seats of Stanley. There can be access to three lanes on the grass, allowing the landing even during the summer.

You can enjoy the island with a very nice places, and by many wildlife photographers, especially for birds. The island is considered one of the possible locations of Caracas for the British amphibious landing during the Falklands war, it came under the British landings at San Carlos water in the West of East Falkland. The plan was to drop "stone aircraft carrier", they encounteredthree times the main objections to this plan:
1) island of Caracas, and in the West of the archipelago, the closest to continental Argentine bases
2) proximity to the air base at Pebble island.
3) distance from Stanley, and remoteness from the main objectives, wevokland which is at the end of the war.

Although Caracas island is a small island, but it's too big when you go walk to be able to extend about 700 meters wide up to the highest point on the island. You can access the highest point on the island to return to the airstrip, and then tracks in Rocky Hill to reach the bottom of the main places of the island.
